KISI  2019

In recent years, this variety has become very popular and is most often used to make traditional Kakhetian amber wine aged on chacha, although
it is also an excellent variety for classic white wines. It produces wines with
a strong, tannic and memorable flavors.

Best places – Argokhi, Marghaani, Babaneuri.

Combination with meals:

One of the best wines for chakapuli; it also goes well with roast poultry and boiled beef. Don't forget about sheep cheese.

Method: Traditional Kakhetian qvevri wine, aged for 6 months on chacha

Location: Kakheti, Akhmeta municipality, village of Ozhio

Variety: Kisi

Alcohol: 13,5%

Color: Amber

Bouquet: scents of ripe yellow fruits (peach) is mixed with tones of dried fruits (dried apricots).

Taste: strong wine with tannins, full-bodied, with a long aftertaste.

Serving temperature: 12–14°
